Het is belangrijk dat de hoeveelheid glucose in het bloed, het bloedsuikergehalte, niet teveel varieert. Bij grote schommelingen kan er sprake zijn van diabetes of, in het geval van zwangerschap, van zwangerschapsdiabetes. Als het bloedsuikergehalte juist teveel daalt, kan er sprake zijn van hypoglykemie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bij een glucose tolerantietest onderzoeken wij wat er met uw bloedsuikergehalte gebeurt na inname van een suikerhoudend drankje. Twee uur na drinken van dit drankje kijken wij of uw bloedsuikergehalte weer terug is op het oude niveau.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
